The Annual Election period (AEP) is from October 15th to December 7th. This is the time of year where you can make any change you want for a January 1st effective.

The new Open Enrollment Period (OEP) is from January 1st to March 31st. You have one chance to change your Medicare Advantage Plan (MAPD) to another Advantage Plan or a Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) Plan. Your coverage would start on the 1st of the next month.
